Hi, I'm Cherry, thanks for stopping by!
Yoga is a great way of connecting the body and mind, by practicing calming techniques, while building on your physical strength and flexibility. I teach specially adapted pregnancy, postnatal and children's yoga, so I'm lucky enough to be able to work with families from bump, right through to school age!
I'm a Mum, Midwife and yogi, who moved down to Dorset in 2016 to start a new life with my little family. Over the years, I've found yoga to be a great way of helping me to deal with stress, and as an injury prone ex-dancer, it has been a great way of challenging my body more gently. I really enjoy being able to combine my Midwifery expertise with my holistic skills, to enable mummies-to-be and new mums to feel prepared, calm and in control. My classes help to build a little community for you at a time in life where friendly faces and shared experiences are very important. My 10 years experience as a children's dance teacher, being a Mum, and my love of yoga, inspired me to expand 'Chilling with Mama' in 2019, to include classes for pre school- 12 years of age.
